Watching episodes of Portlandia inspired me to dust off some Sleater Kinney records. What a great band they were. I got into them kind of late and never thought I would get around to seeing them live because I'm just not into big clubs. Then right before their One Beat album, they played a show or two at the Village Underground in NYC. Nice small place. I quickly bought myself a ticket, had a great time seeing them, and was able to snap a couple of photos too.
